The Art of Play – Wellness Workshop with The Creative Wellness Co.
An enriching experience, as I recently documented was a wellness-focused creative workshop held at the Mandala Café in London, run by The Creative Wellness Co. Rooted in the themes of play and flow, the workshop invited participants to explore creativity from a place of curiosity, experimentation, and gentle self-discovery.
Throughout the session, I aimed to capture the atmosphere of openness and mindful exploration that defined the day. From hands-on activities to quiet moments of reflection, each photograph highlighted the joy of creative expression and the supportive, collaborative energy within the group.
These images were created to showcase the workshop’s unique approach to reconnecting with creativity celebrating process over perfection and encouraging individuals to explore freely. This project reminded me of the power photography has to reflect not only what we see, but how an experience feels, and strengthened my passion for documenting moments that inspire connection, wellness, and personal growth.
Charity Golf Event – SPFL Trust for Mens Mental Health
One of my standout experiences was photographing a charity golf event organized by the SPFL Trust, focusing on men's mental health. During my time at Electrify Marketing and Communications, I had the privilege of documenting this event, capturing candid moments that showcased the participants' engagement and the day's atmosphere.
These images were used throughout the day on SPFL Trust’s social media channels like live coverage of the event, helping to share their story with a wider audience.
These images not only highlight the event's success but also reflect my ability to capture the essence of an occasion, focusing on authenticity and emotion.
Festive Friends – SPFL Trust Christmas Community Event
Another memorable experience during my time as a Junior Graphic Designer at Electrify Marketing and Communications (2019–2020) was photographing the Festive Friends event, an annual initiative run by the SPFL Trust. Each Christmas, this program brings together some of the most isolated and vulnerable members of local communities, often elderly individuals, to share a meal, companionship, and a sense of belonging during the festive season.
Through my photography, I aimed to capture the warmth, kindness, and compassion that define this event. From candid smiles to heartfelt interactions, each image told a story of connection and care. These photos were used across SPFL Trust’s digital channels to highlight the impact of their work and celebrate the spirit of togetherness that the event inspires.
This project deepened my appreciation for how photography can convey emotion and community, and reinforced my commitment to capturing authentic, human moments that matter.
