"On the Edge" is a passion project inspired by a watercolor painting I created after a ski trip earlier this year. This pattern collection captures the movement, mood, and minimalism of the alpine landscape, translating brushstrokes into bold, modern designs.
From there, I began experimenting with new ideas using watercolor painting and various other materials. I drew inspiration from the lines left by skis on the mountain, snow-covered trees, and the comforting imagery of classic hot chocolate with marshmallows
It was time to digitise these materials in order to begin designing seamless patterns.
